Residential and Commercial permits shall be computed as follows:

• Construction cost X 0.5% = permit cost
• $70.00 per square foot construction cost for residential plus any additional for:
• Basements - $10.00 per square foot construction cost
• Carports/Garages - $15.00 per square foot construction cost
• $70.00 per square foot construction cost for commercial
• Mobile home permits - $50.00
• Electrical permits - $50.00
• Moving of building - $100.00

Exception: For a total valuation of less than $500.00, no fee shall be charged unless an inspection is required, in which case there shall be a charge of $50.00
