Garbage Collection

The City of Calera will pick up controlled trash from residents each week Monday through Thursday.  You can check to see what day your garbage is to be picked up by referring to the garbage pick-up schedule map.

Garbage cans should be out and ready for pick-up by 6:00 am. In order to receive this service you should contact, Public Works at (205) 668-3511 and request a pick-up. 

Recycling

The City of Calera does not currently participate in a recycling program.
 
Garbage Schedule Change for Memorial Day
 

• Monday the city is closed and no trash will be collected
• Monday collection will be moved to Tuesday, May 26th
• Tuesday collection will be moved to Wednesday, May 27th
• Wednesday collection will be moved to Thursday, May 28th
• Thursday collection will be moved to Friday, May 29th
