Council Member: Debbie Byers

Debbie Byers is a lifelong resident of Calera. Debbie has been an active member of the Calera community for many years. She currently serves on the Board of Adjustments, where she has demonstrated her commitment to ensuring fair and responsible decision-making. She has also earned a certification as an Alabama Planning and Zoning Official, further enhancing her qualifications for this appointment.

Prior to her retirement, Debbie held significant positions in the healthcare industry. She spent 15 years at Brookwood Medical Center as the Central Billing Coordinator. Following that, she dedicated 20 years of her career to Greenway Health, where she served as an Optimization Manager. Her expertise in streamlining processes and maximizing efficiency will undoubtedly contribute to her effectiveness in serving the Calera City Council.

Debbie's strong ties to the community, coupled with her professional background, make her an ideal choice to represent the residents of Calera. Her passion for improving the quality of life in the city and her ability to collaborate with others will be invaluable as she takes on this new responsibility.
